My Story

Some dreams begin as an idea.
Soul Haven began as a calling​.

​Years later, after stepping away from corporate life, I attended a retreat that would change the course of my life forever. During a Chakra Balancing workshop, something shifted deeply within me. It is difficult to put into words, but I can only describe it as a calling, a profound inner knowing that this was the path I was meant to follow.

That experience was truly life-changing.

​

I returned home knowing something within me had changed. What began as my own journey of healing and self-discovery quickly became a desire to learn, experience and understand more.

​

One practice led naturally to another… Reiki Mastery, Crystals, Chakra Healing, Energy work, Sound & Frequency, Ancient Wisdoms and deeper transformational practices. With every experience and every training, I felt myself being drawn further along a path that, looking back now, I realise had been quietly unfolding all along.

Soul Experience

I feel incredibly fortunate that after completing my Holy Fire®️ Reiki Master training, I organically found myself stepping into the role of Complementary Therapist at my local hospice.

It has become one of the most humbling parts of my journey, allowing me to share Reiki and energy work with those approaching end of life, members of the MND community, their families and the incredible staff who care for them. Holding space during some of life’s most vulnerable and profound moments has deeply shaped both me and the way I now share my work through Soul Haven.

The Beginnings of Soul Haven

​

What started as my own healing journey slowly became something more, a calling to hold space for others and create somewhere people could come exactly as they are.

Beside me through it all was my beautiful Mum. She was my greatest supporter. My Mum believed deeply in holistic healing and encouraged me to trust what I was feeling and follow what was in my heart. She watched this new chapter of my life unfold, believing in the dream alongside me.

Most beautifully of all, she gave Soul Haven its name.

​

In March 2025, I lost Mum to cancer. My world changed forever, but the dream we had spoken about did not disappear. If anything, I felt an even deeper pull to bring it to life.

​

On 18th September 2025, what would have been Mum’s 69th birthday, Soul Haven of Harrogate was born. It became my way of honouring her and keeping a little piece of her love, encouragement and belief alive, while creating something that could offer others the very things I had come to understand so deeply myself:

A place to pause.
A place to release.
A place to reconnect.
A place to remember who you are beneath all the noise.

Soul Haven Today

​

Today, Soul Haven has grown into far more than I could have imagined when I first began.

Through Munay-Ki Rites, Kundalini Shakti Immersion, Aura Field Tuning Folk Therapy, Womb Healing, Inner Child Healing, Ancient Cacao, Sacred Ceremonies, Retreats, Corporate Events, Festivals and my own beautiful modality, the Angelic Sound & Soul System, I create and hold spaces where you are invited to simply arrive as you are.

There is no expectation.
No comparison.
No hierarchy.
And no need to be anything other than yourself.

​

Soul Haven was never created simply to be a business.

​

It was born through love, loss, healing and a deep trust in following the path that calls your soul.

​

Perhaps that is Mum’s greatest legacy within Soul Haven… the reminder that life is precious, that we are allowed to follow our dreams and that sometimes the most beautiful things can grow from the places that have broken our hearts wide open.
